I think I’m starting to like doilies

Hello and happy Monday (hopefully)! Before I start I would like to thank all of you for all your super sweet comments on all my projects/blog name/everything, and all your kind emails. It’s nice to have such happy things to come back to after a long day of classes.

When I first saw them popping up, I honestly didn’t know what to think of the doily trend at first–when I think of them I usually think of a stuffy formality that isn’t really age appropriate for me (I’m 21), but I have to admit that I’m starting to love them, especially when they’re updated a bit. Especially in cards like this. The foil doily pattern on the chipboard is so hard to capture, but this was the best out of ten or so photos I took of it. It’s the right amount of modern vintage, don’t you think?

Cardstock: Bazzill Basics; Patterned paper, chipboard: SEI; Rhinestone: KaiserCraft; Stamp: K and Company; Ink: VersaFine.

Hope you loved this one! I think I might have one more SEI Juliette card left to share on Wednesday, and then I think I’m going to post either some October Afternoon or Doodlebug projects, including some awfully cute little critters and more doily patterns.

Thanks for stopping by!
